It appears to share at least some similarities with Thunderlord Zinogre. Each Apex monster in Monster Hunter Rise is represented in said mural, and has a Deviant counterpart originally introduced in Monster Hunter Generations or Generations Ultimate, and Apex Zinogre is no different. Valstrax can exist in extremely high altitudes and can break the sound barrier with its incredible speed, appearing as a red comet in the sky. The Elder Dragon Valstrax, also known as the Sky Comet Dragon was, until now, was only huntable in high- level quests in Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate (or the Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate Demo, if you’re too impatient to wait for today’s Rise update).
